Welcome to “State of Mind”, the simplest employees micro-sentiment capture platform for the distributed workforce. This is a service provided by GOWIF Technologies Pvt. Ltd (“GOWIF”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). The privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “Policy”) applies to all of the services offered by GOWIF when you use State of Mind website (the “Site”) or State of Mind app (the “App”). “You” or “your”, as used in this Privacy Policy, refers to the individual to whom Personal Data relates. Customer or Company means, in relation to you, the person or entity that has contracted with GOWIF to allow you to use our Services. They will generally be your employer, or an identified subgroup within your organization. 

 

PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy sets out the manner GOWIF collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from the users of our website and App. By downloading, installing, using this App or by registering Your profile with GOWIF, you are giving consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as set out in this document. GOWIF reserves the right to update this Policy frequently, hence we recommend you to check this page from time to time.

 

WHAT WE COLLECT:

When you contact us or use our app, we collect information that alone or in the combination of other information can be used to identify you as follows:

  • We may collect information such as name, company name, contact information including email address when you contact us on our website or register using our App. We may also collect the email communication that you may have exchanged to furnish information or request more details of State of Mind. 

  • You may also use our social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin (“Social Media”) to interact with us. When you interact with our social media pages, we may collect some of your personal information as defined by social media companies. 

  • We may also get device-related information such as operating system and browser that you use to access our website or analytics. However, this may depend on what kind of device you use.

  • When you choose to use our app to have conversation related to how are you feeling, we process the information on your behalf and produce aggregate level analytics for your organization.

  • The app may ask your permission to give access to your phone microphone. This is to support voice compatibility feature of the app and hence, voice permission request will be triggered if needed. This feature is enabled only when you are using the app and don’t collect any information when app is not in use.

  • The information provided by each Customer is different. In most cases, your company will provide us with employee demographic data such as your name, email information, and other information related to your role within the Company, including your manager, direct reports and your position within the Company’s organization chart. Some companies may provide us with additional demographic information so they can better analyze and understand the sentiment results. 

  • When you engage in conversation with our app, we store your responses and comments for the analytics purpose.

  • When our customer launches a custom pulse question using pulse card, we store those questions and other information related to that question

  • All the conversations that user do on the app is confidential. However, user can also switch to anonymous to go completely incognito. 

  • To make the data privacy better, the data handling is governed by the user’s company data and information security policy. 

 

HOW WE USE WHAT WE COLLECT:

  • The collected information is used to configure the app for the users, meet analytical purposes, improve the product and services, and inform future product enhancements to the users.

  • To respond to your enquiries, feedback, and comments related to the State of Mind website and app and support your onboarding

  • To support account verification, credential reset related communications, and protect your account from any fraudulent activities 

  • Information security is our prime commitment to our users. To deliver our promise, we have certain processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We don’t disclose information to third parties until it’s part of the agreed contract. 

  • Data collected from cookies is used to tailor our website operation to meet your likes and dislikes and optimize the page for your better experience.

  • Cookies log files helps us analyse the web traffic data and improvise the website.  You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept

  • When you visit, use and interact with the Site or App, we may receive certain information about your visit, use or interactions.

  • cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

  • We may monitor the number of people that visit our Site or App, peak hours of visits, page(s) that are visited on our Site, the domains our visitors come from, and browsers people use to access and visit our Site, including broad geographical information, and Site-navigation pattern. 

  • State of Mind is a B2B product that offers services to business customers. Our business customer (such as your employer) will invite you to use the app. We process the information under the agreement that we have signed with your employer. In case if you don’t want to use or delete any specific data, you can speak to your employer directly. 

  • Time to time, we may aggregate your information and analyzed to know the effectiveness of our services, add or improve existing features to improvise your experience. We may also aggregate the information to understand our user’s behaviour, persona, and characteristics.
